I love creating things out of items that no one thinks are beautiful anymore, like this broken china pendant. I browse antique and charity stores for china that is chipped or missing a saucer or cup. No one really wants something that's not perfect or useable, except me.
I have taken this lovely rose pattern design with a mint green background and made it into this handmade sterling silver and broken china pendant on sterling silver box chain necklace. This pendant has only sterling silver components and there is only one of this style pendant with its specific piece of china in my inventory.
This pendant is set using a sterling silver bezel strip for the setting around the china and it is on a sterling silver backing. Making this pendant involves torch soldering and multiple stages as each joint is soldered.
The actual pendant has a hanging length of 1 inches or 2.5 cm. It comes with a sterling silver box chain that is 18 inches long. (If you would prefer a 16 inch chain, please let me know on the check out page.)
This pendant will be tastefully gift wrapped in a box with a ribbon.
