Broken china earrings with handmade sterling silver ear wires and custom sterling silver bezel setting with china that is upcycled into jewelry by me. Each earring has a handmade sterling silver earwire.
 
I love creating things out of items that no one thinks are beautiful anymore. No one really wants something that's not perfect or useable, except me. The china for these earrings was gifted to me from a local friend who deals in vintage china online. This one was a Limoges fine porcelain cup that had a crack. It was perfect for me to make into my upcycled jewelry.
 
This pair of earrings features large patterns of leaves and small flowers in mauve and greens. There is only one of these pairs of earrings due to the way the china was broken and rounded out in the grinding process. 
 
I upcycle the damaged china into new and beautiful pieces of jewelry which will be loved and appreciated by whomever receives it. Their hanging length 1 1/4 inches or 3 cm. 
 
This pair of earrings will be tastefully gift wrapped in a box with a ribbon.
