I love creating things out of items that no one thinks are beautiful anymore, like these broken china earrings. I browse antique and charity stores for china that is chipped or missing a saucer or cup. No one really wants something that's not perfect or useable, except me.
The blue and white china of this pair of earrings is the classic "Willow Pattern" china with a modern design and it has a flower and leaf designs on each earring. There is only one of these pairs of earrings due to the way the china was broken and rounded out in the grinding process.
Once I've found the china, I take these damaged treasures home and upcycle them into new and beautiful pieces of jewelry which will be loved and appreciated by whomever receives it. Their hanging length 1 1/4 inches or 3.2 cm and features an ear wire that hooks back on itself for added security.
