This rare Caribbean blue sea glass pendant will help you feel the peacefulness of the ocean and beach, even if you aren't actually there. I found this piece of sea glass on a beach in Cape Town while visiting my family there and is is a rare color of sea glass. My guess is it was a colorful wine glass that was broken at the beach and based on my knowledge of the area, the beach it was found on is often where people sit, watching the sun go down, have a picnic and drink wine and have "sundowners". Cape Town is also well known for its incredible vineyards, hence my assumption and the glass is quite thin and probably from a goblet style wine glass.
The color rarity of this is a 9 out of 10 with 10 being the most rare and this is in accordance with my Carter Sea glass color and rarity guide.
This sea glass is set in a sterling silver bezel setting which is torch soldered in a multi step process and it is then burnished, oxidised and polished to give it sheen.
The setting measures 1 by 1/ inches or 2.5 x 1.5 cm.
The sterling silver box chain measures 18 inches but if you would prefer this to be 16 inches, please add it in the notes in the check out page. It is also optional to have the black silicone necklace that looks like leather and it is 18 inches long.
There is only one of these pendants available,
This pendant will come tastefully wrapped in a gift box with an organza ribbon.
