I love creating things out of items that no one thinks are beautiful anymore. I browse antique and charity stores for china that is chipped or missing a saucer or cup. No one really wants something that's not perfect or useable, except me.
This pair of earrings actually features china that was given to me by a friend's Grandmother after a porcelain china cup of hers broke. It's a beautiful crisp design with botanical images in greens, black and white. There is only one of these pairs of earrings due to the way the china was broken and rounded out in the grinding process. My hope is that this jewelry which will be loved and appreciated by whomever receives it. Their hanging length 1 1/4 inches or 2.5 cm.
