This lovely honeydew green seaglass pendant is set in an unusual sterling silver bezel setting. This color of green is considered to be have a rarity rating of 6 with 10 being the most rare. This piece is also UV glass or Vaseline glass and it glows in the dark, which actually makes it more rare than the 6 out of 10 rating. I found this piece of sea glass on a camping trip to Port Townsend and when I found it I was impressed by its color and had a suspicion that it would glow in the dark.
The sea glass piece has been set within a simple, minimalist setting that allows you to look at the piece of sea glass as an art object. The setting is a sterling silver bezel setting which was created in multiple steps and was torch soldered by me in my home studio. Additional polishing and burnishing is what gives this pendant additional shine.
The actual pendant measures 1 3/4 by 1/3 inches or 3.5 x 1.3 cm and it comes with a sterling silver 18 inch box chain necklace. (Please message me in the check out page if you would prefer the chain to be 16 inches instead).
