This silver Russian sage leaf pendant was created with a specialized technique using silver precious metal clay (PMC) on a real sage leaf from our garden. The clay form was then fired at a high temperature to produce a pure silver leaf. I have created a bail for it to hang from by soldering on a silver wire twist which is wrapped with a balled end. The pendant has been oxidized so that the detailing of the leaf veins has been highlighted and even the reverse side of the leaf (see the third photo) is actually very pretty and sculptural.
 
The leaf measures 2 1/4 inches by 3/4 inch or 5cm by 2.3cm. This pendant comes with an 18 inch (45cm) sterling silver box link chain, but it can be ordered with a 16 inch (41cm) chain. Just include that infomation when you place the order and I will happily switch out the chain.
 
This pendant will be packaged in a lovely gift box with a ribbon.
