Succulent stud earrings were created using a combination of my silversmithing and precious metal clay skills. These earrings are perfect for the person who loves succulents.
A mold was created with a tiny succulent and then was cast in fine silver. I use something called precious metal clay, or PMC, to do this. The clay was allowed to dry, be fired, polished and then soldered to the sterling silver stud backing and then given an oxidising patina to highlight the incredible detail of the tiny succulent. The stud backing is also sterling silver.
The studs are soldered to a sterling stud which has also has a sterling ear backing. Each stud is 1/3 of an inch or 8mm in diameter.
This item can be ordered in multiples, and please allow 2 - 3 weeks for your studs to be made and there may be subtle variations between pairs of earrings due to the fact that each one is hand made.
These studs will be tastefully gift packaged in a box and tied with an organza ribbon.
